Happy and sad to be home from camping this weekend. It's my therapy and it's always bitter sweet! To numb the sting of leaving we each said something we were excited to get home to, and definitely Jake and I's were our beds and showers! The kids had a harder time coming up with things but their Kitty and the neighbor kids always top the list. They could stay camping forever and not mind. Emery and Macie played with their cousins non stop. I swear I never even see them anymore when we are camping until it's time to eat. They play so hard. Harley usually sticks closer to us but just plays with his tractors in the dirt or searches for shells from people shooting, or begs people to taking him shooting. Lainee just bounces from person to person to see who will give her the most freedom and food. Such a fun weekend with family! Already trying to plan when our next camping trip will be...
We played quite a few rounds of musical babies. Just so much baby goodness!
Lainee is getting increasing more obsessed with "ba-pa". She started actually saying it a couple weeks ago. She loves sitting with him!
This boy is obsessed with fire. It was all we could do to keep him out of it. If there is a fire going, he is definitely nearby throwing in sticks (or nails...like the nail he threw, unbeknownst to anyone, into the potatoes that my dad bit into 🤦)
Of course there was lots and lots of begging for four wheeler rides.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Of course a picture with Great Grandma Mattie.
Until next time!
