Easter 2016

Easter seems like it was forever ago, it kinda was, but with the craziness of the month we've had. I'm barely getting around to this! We started off our Easter celebrating on Saturday morning with their Easter baskets.

The money in their eggs was their favorite part. They are obsessed with saving money in their piggy banks.

Macie got some princess bath toys and Emery got some Mr. Sketch scented markers. I had these markers as a kid and they were my favorite!

Afterwards we started making some jello eggs!

That afternoon we went to the City Easter Egg hunt. Emery got bumped up an age group this year so Jake and I had to split up. So I had these two, and he had her.

Macie and Harley were not quick at all, Harley didn't get a single egg, and Macie got 2 I think...haha!! Emery made out with quite the haul though.

There was another egg hunt at the Assisted living next to our house so Harley went home and laid down for a nap, and I took the girls up to this one. It was a really fun egg hunt. We will probably do it from now on!

Sunday we went to church, watched some Easter shows about the resurrection and talked a lot about why we have Easter. I made a Easter dinner with pork chops and my mom and dad came over for dinner. It was a good day!

Love these little people in their Easter clothes.

My little man

Sometimes on Thursday nights, fairly often actually, the girls get to have sleepovers with grandma. Which leaves me with 1:1 time with this little guy on Friday's. He soaks up every second of having every ounce of Moms attention. And I soak up being able to give it him. Being the youngest of 3, especially when the older 2 aren't much older than he is and demand a lot of attention still, it is a really special thing. He loves to read books with me. Sometimes he sits on my lap and let's me read them, and sometimes, like this day, he likes to sit by himself and read them. So since he was engrossed in his book, I decided to get some pictures of this precious boy that I cannot get enough of. I don't know what we'd do without him.
