To cut or not to cut....that is the question...

Anyone who knows me knows I HATE cutting my hair...I love to get my hair done, but I have a phobia of cutting it! It's like I don't think it is going to grow back or something! It's scares me! But right now I am contemplating cutting it! Not a lot, but a few inches! Here are a couple pictures of what it looks like right now....

And these are the pictures I am going to show my hair dresser...they are of me so it should look pretty close! :)

So please leave a comment and tell me if you think I should cut my hair...or not cut my hair! I would love to hear your opinion!

May I have this dance?

This post is for my Aunt Terry Lynn and my cousin Emily and their birds! haha! When I saw this I totally thought of you! :)

*~*Make sure and pause the music at the bottom of the page before watching!~*~

Brandon Mead

So I sent a copy of the post below to my two friends on missions, Jason throughly enjoyed it and thanked me, Brandon enjoyed it and thanked me, but said that he thought he deserved more than just the one sentence that I wrote...so this is for Brandon....

Brandon truly is my best friend. He is such an awesome guy! During my first semester of college when I literally had no one, he was there! I loved his phone calls everyday when we would talk for hours and hours about nothing! (quite a feat considering our first prob 5 conversations were about 10 seconds...) His love and support got me through some of the hardest times of my life. No one can really understand me like he can. I know this might seem wierd to some people, that I should be writing this about a girl, but girls and I have never really "clicked" as well....Brandon is the best friend I've got and I love him to death! I have faithfully written him every single week for the last 15 months, and am excited for the next 9. He is such a good guy. He always has a joke, some way to tease you, but when it is time to be serious, he is. He is full of wisdom and good advice, and a good laugh. Some of my favorite memories with Brandon are #1-Ping Pong, he and I are about on the same playing field as far as ping pong goes, so it was always fun to take a break from getting slaughtered by Jason and play each other. #2-Going to movies, I swear every single weekend we were at at least one movie at the theater. #3-Playing cards, this kid is a MEAN speed player. #4-Adult Roles...enough said #5-Prom for sure, this is where our friendship started #6-Barbeques at my house, some of the funnest times of my life were around that campfire! #7- Him coming to visit in Rexburg, what a good friend! There are so many more! Thanks so much Brandon for being such a good friend to me! Keep up your hard work! We'll see in a few months! Love ya!

Here's to Best Friends

This post is a special tribute to my best friends in the ENTIRE world! (even though two can't read it, keep up the hard work guys :)) Laci, Nate, Jason, and Brandon. There was not a closer knit group of friends to be found and there is no one that any of us fit better with! We have seen each other through everything! Bad dates, good dates, dates with each other, ping pong tourney's, crazy high school classes, wins losses, everything you can think of in a typical High Schoolers life. Laci always listens, no matter what she will be there to listen to you talk for hours and hours! Nate is always there to beat anything or anyone that hurts you, makes you mad, or maybe jsut bugs you! He's always got your back! Jason always has some kind of wisdom that whatever is wrong really isn't that bad, but if we just look at the positive side of the problem all will be ok. And Brandon always has a joke, he'll listen intently as if he really understands what your saying and then he'll jsut crack a joke and make a total joke of the whole thing! You can't help but just laugh! These guys/girl are the best friends that anyone could ask for! A lot of people especially here at school think that it is crazy that I still write my friends Brandon adn Jason on their missions and that I still talk to Laci and Nate so much, but we love it! We don't know what we would do without each other! The support and confidence that we provide each other is priceless and I don't know what I'd do without these guys! I love you all so much! Thanks for all you've done!!!

BEAUTIFUL BYU-Idaho

K so I have a friend on a mission in Mexico and he wrote me and said that he wanted some fall pictures because the scenery never changes and asked if I could get him some! So my friend/roomie Amanda went around campus and up to the temple (across the street from campus...) and took these pictures! Aren't they gorgeous! I love this school! SO pretty!

Extravadance!!!

So here are some pics from last semester's Extravadance that I never got around to posting! I love these girls and this team! It is so much fun!

~Devo~

So it's not very often that one weekend you have the Prophet and apostles at your school, but then for the prophet's daughter to come up to devo just tops it off! Sister Ann Monson Dibb came and spoke at Devotional today, and it was so good! She talked all about her dad and told some amazing stories that you can only hear from a family member that schow the Pres. Monson is a regular guys just like us! She gave characteristics of her father that we should all try to have that makes him the man that he is! It was just a really cool devotional overall! I really enjoyed it!

Step Up 2

VS.

So a couple of friends and I went to Step Up 2 tonight. I gotta say I was disappointed. It really wasn't that good...The first one is one of my favorite movies and this one doesn't even make the list. There are a number of reasons why I didn't like it

1. Too much drama not enough dance....There was hardly any dancing in it! It was all drama, then FINALLY at the end the dance!

2. Not my style of dance...I'm not really into the whole break dance thing, and that is ALL it is.

3. Kind of dirty...the first one was a pretty clean movie, this one...not so much. It's small things, but you notice.

4. The first Step Up made me want to get up and dance, this one didn't. The only scene that did was the scene where they salsa danced just because I'm really into Latin Dancing right now, so I liked the Salsa! But other than that, I never really felt like jumping up and dancing!

So for anyone out there thinking about going to see this movie, it's not all bad I guess, go see it. See for yourself if you like it. My room mate liked me, I didn't so much though! I'll stick to number one!

Valentines Dinner

Tonight for Valentines my room mates and I made a "pink dinner". We had pink pancakes, pink scrambled eggs, and pink hashbrowns! Then I made a Turtle Cheesecake with chocolate and carmel sauce, and some chocolate chip cookie bars! We had our kitchen all decorated with cute plates, napkins, roses (actually given to us, we didn't buy them for ourselves...haha), and candles! And 56 ballons! haha! It was so fun! After dinner we sang and danced to love songs. It was a very good Valentines night, without any boys! Maybe we'll have boys next year....until then we're havin fun being single!

Temple Dedication

Well this is a few days late cause I have been way busy! But the Rexburg Temple dedication was this weekend! It was absolutely amazing! It was the coolest experience! We had President Monson up here, Pres. Eyring, Elder Bednar, and Elder Nelson. There were 4 sessions it was like General Conference except all in one day! haha! And they were all dressed in white which was really cool to see. At conference they obviously are all in suits, but to see them in their temple clothes was really neat! I think the most amazing part of the dedication was the Halleluiah shout! That was so neat to be in that big room and see everyone waving their handkercheifs all together and yelling halleluiah! This really was an unforgettable experience. It has been such a neat experience to be able to be up here to watch the temple be built. To see the progress and just watch the whole process and be able to take part in it is so neat. It was actually a beautiful day too though, we have seen a day like Sunday in about 3 months...! It was so neat! Pres. Monson flew in on Saturday and the fog and the weather was so bad they had to land the plane in Pocatello and have him escorted the rest of the way...haha! There is Idaho weather for you! haha! It was a really neat experience! I hope you all get to have the exprience of being at a temple dedication!

Grey's Anatomy

So my roommates Amanda and Betsy are obsessed with Grey's Anatomy. I had never watched it, but they have the first three seasons on DVD and wanted Kimberlea and I to watch them since we hadn't seen them and we are officially addicted now!! We are currently watching the 3rd season and it's amazing! And not mention...Patrick Dempsey is in it, who wouldn't want to watch it? It's official, I'm a Grey's Anatomy Addict!

Walking to School in Rexburg

This is what we walk through most winter mornings in Rexburg to get to school...

SNOW SNOW AND MORE SNOW

We have so much snow...the weather man said today that Rexburg hasn't seen a winter like this one in 10 years! And then when the wind starts blowing it's even worse. It blows in your face and you can't see and you're walking to class and every peice of your body that isn't covered is burning because it's so cold...welcome to a Rexburg winter...Our parking lot is so full of snow that all of the cars are stuck and when you can get out you can't get back in because there is so much snow! So tomorrow morning we have to move all of our cars out so they can come plow. All of our cars were under so much snow! And they were stuck, so the Elder's Quorum has been over here digging out our cars and trying to get them out for us!

Temple Square Trip

A couple weeks ago my friends, Laci Mecham and Amanda Wright and I took a fun trip down to Salt Lake. We ate dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, then walked around Temple Square. We went to the Christus and up to "The Roof" Resturant to take pictures of the temple. Then we walked to the Gallivan Center and went Ice Skating for a couple hours. We ended just in time to be on channel 2's 10 o'clock news! It was a really fun night!
