Time for some more blogging catch up! A few weeks ago we headed up to Bear Lake for one last taste of summer before we started back into school. We stayed at our very favorite place and had so much fun as we always do there. The kids were in heaven with all of the fun things to do! We spent most of our time at the giant slides and the jumping pillow!
The second day we were there we hit up the lake. For all the years we've come up here (with the kids) we have always just played on the beach. But they are getting big enough they want to start renting boats and stuff. So we promised them next time we go we'll get a boat! But for now, they love just playing in the sand on the beach.
After being at the beach for a few hours we were craving a famous Bear Lake Raspberry shake. Jake and I dream of these all winter. And we love that the place with the very best shakes never even has a line because hardly anyone knows about it ;)
But of course hit up Merlins for some food too.
Since Bear Lake and the KOA is generally just a summer thing they celebrate all of the holidays in the summer. So the weekend we were there they were celebrating Halloween. We did crafts, scavenger hunts for treats, hay rides and train rides. They had tons of games and fun things to do. It seriously is the best place ever.
Another fantastic Bear Lake trip in the books!
