Memorial Day Weekend

Over Memorial Day weekend we headed out to our usual camping area at the West Desert. We actually camped at a different area this year, but we loved this spot even more than our old spot. 

The night before we drove out it rained so much so the roads were so muddy. We were driving slow and just got sucked into this ditch. I do need to point out that I was NOT driving when this happened.... ;) haha My dad ended up pulling us out. 

The girls spent the days digging and digging and playing in the mud and digging some more!

Harley enjoyed all of the attention he got.

These two sisters are very best friends. The absolute sweetest. 

These girls love to go four wheeling. 

We had so much fun! Can't wait for all of our camping trips this summer! These kids love to play outside, it is their happy place. 

Class of 2015

I can't believe my baby sister is all grown up and graduated! We got to all go celebrate her graduation this weekend. 

Emery is all of the sudden into making crazy faces for everything. It is hilarious the stuff she comes up with.

They have recently started having our high school graduation at Weber State University instead of our high school like when Colton and I graduated. It really makes no sense because we are such a small school, but parents complained and blah blah blah here we are taking up a whopping 4 rows of Dee Event Center. 

It is a tradition in Morgan that every graduation they light the M. My mom and dad and uncle went and lit it this year. Emery was so excited about it. She was so bummed when she woke up the next morning and it wasn't lit anymore. 

Congratulations Shayli! We will miss you so much when you go off to college!

Emery's First Dance Recital

Emery had her very first dance recital today. She did such a good job! We were so proud of her. They did 2 dances, Me and My Teddy Bear and You Know What.

Grandpa, Grandma, Great Grandma, and Uncle Mike all came to watch you too. 

Afterwards we went to dinner, and then got busy getting the garden in. It has been raining for weeks non stop here so we haven't been able to get anything in. The garden was pretty much just mud. But it finally stopped the last 2 days, and after lots of tilling it was finally dry enough to plant. So we helped my mom and dad get theirs planted, and then we got ours in. We did yellow squash, tomatoes, jalepenos, anaheim peppers, bell peppers, and corn. We still need to do some green beans and some more corn. 

Harley had fun playing on his blanket and with Uncle Mike. 

And standing on his head....he does this all the time. It's so funny. 

Emery has been asking for some gardening gloves every time we go to Tractor Supply, we decided to get them for her today. 

This kid is such a ham. 

After we got down we had a fire and roasted some hot dogs. It was a great day!!

I can't believe Emery's first year of dance is coming to an end this week! She has loved it and had so much fun. She has made some good friends, and it is going to be so fun to watch them all grow up together. The ones she got to be the best friends with are going to be in her same grade, so it is perfect. Can't wait for her dance recital on Saturday!
