This sweet girl celebrated the big 2 years old today. I can hardly believe it. Time has flown by way way too quickly. I feel like I was at the hospital having her last week. So this is her, asleep, he last night as a one year old. My sweet sleeping angel.
We woke up and had Cinnamon Rolls and a smoothie for breakfast. They loved it. We even sang her Happy Birthday, she was confused, but liked the attention.
Every family needs a Macie in it. She is sweet, she is sassy, and she is all girl. She hates being in anything but a dress. She will only wear nightgowns to bed, no discussions. If I bribe her I can get her in shorts or pants now and then. She is obsessed with anything "princess". She sings and dances allllll day long. She is a 100% copy cat to her big sister. If Emery says it or does it, Macie says it and does it. They are very best friends. She runs to her after every nap and every morning, they hate being apart. She can out eat some adults, she love loves to cuddle any chance she gets. She's a daddy's girl, but likes mom to still be in sight. She lights up any room, and really has a sparkle in the her eyes when she smiles. It melts me. She is scared of everything, unless it is actually dangerous (like jumping off of tables and couches...). She is our little angel and we will forever be grateful to Heavenly Father for sending her to us. I am beyond lucky to be your mommy! I love you Squish!!
The plan was for Jake to work a half day and come home and then we would go swimming at East Canyon. But as soon as he got home it started pouring rain!! We were so bummed. So we tried to think of things that we could do inside that she would like. She loves seeing the jets that fly over from Hill AFB, so we decided to take her to the Air Force Museum, she hasn't been there before. She loved it, the girls ran around and loved it. I forgot my camera, so I have no pictures.
Tonight we had a little get together party to have some cake and ice cream and open presents. Macie was over the moon excited when people started coming.
Good thing papa can hold them both because they both run as soon as he shows up.
But I don't think there is ANYONE in the world that Macie loves more than Aunt Haley. She loves her.
Macie is obsessed with all princesses. But right now she loves Princess Sofia. So we had a Princess Sofia party.
As soon as we started singing Happy Birthday she got so excited. She didn't know what to think, she would look at Jake, look at me, look at my mom, confused but smiling.
Since all she will wear to bed is nightgowns we got her a new Sofia nightgown.
After cake and ice cream we opened presents! We got her a Sofia the First suitcase. We got Emery a Minnie Mouse one a few years ago and she loves it, and they always fight over it now, so we thought it would be helpful to get her one too. She is so happy about it. We also got her a Cinderella plush and a Sofia the First book that we had everyone that came to her party sign for her to keep and remember her 2nd birthday!

She loves her puzzle from Aunt Haley and Uncle Colton too. She loves all of her presents!!
