January and February

We're just trying to survive winter over here. Which means we're in the house basically all the time. Except for the occasional day it gets over 32 degrees....

First Sunday of the year in their new classes.

Lainee is still in nursery, Emery in CTR 8, Harley is in CTR 5, and Macie in CTR 6.

Emery and Macie had early out on a day when Harley still had school. So they got him an after school snack ready for him when he got home.

The girls had their winter dance recital a few weeks ago. Macie did feel good that morning so she didn't go to school, so we decided not to take her to the recital either. So I took Emery while Jake stayed home with the rest of them. We sure missed watching Macie, but Emery did so good!

Then grandma and grandpa took us out for Ice Cream afterwards.

I got asked to go talk to the high school Nursing Assistant class and took Lainee with me. We swung by papa's classroom beforehand hoping she'd just stay with him while I talked. But it was already an hour past her naptime and she did not want to leave my side. So I took her with me and laid her on the floor in the back of the room. She was sound asleep within 5 minutes.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2020

Macie dressed up as a 100 year old for the 100th day of school!

My cousin left on his mission a few weeks ago and while we were at the luncheon after his farewell, my uncle surprised Harley with a ride on the firetruck! All the kids climbed in and went, but Harley was the most excited about it.

Harley has gotten into puzzles a lot lately, a few weeks ago he decided to do almost every puzzle we have before he went to school.

Valentines Day! We had our traditional strawberry milk. Breakfast changes every year, but this year was pink, heart shaped pancakes. The kids didn't have school so for lunch we headed to Ogden and met up with Jake. That night we had heart shaped pizza and a movie night!

I got to make my sweet friend's daughter's wedding cake. It turned out really good!

Hitting up J's for an after school Tangee.
