A gorgeous night with friends

We got to spend the night with our best friends, who happen to also be our neighbors, going on a ranger ride in the beautiful mountains around Morgan. We rode around looked at the views, roasted some hot dogs, and had a perfect, fun evening!

Harley's hair was blowing in the wind and then it just stayed that way. It was pretty awesome.

Water Babies

As soon as the kids got up from their naps today, Emery was begging to go to the splash pad. In an effort to not pack the kids back up (we had spent the whole morning at the park already), I told her I would make her a splash pad at home. So we set up the sprinkler, the slip and slide, wet down the slides, got out the water table, and set to work playing.

I brought Harley out and set up a blanket and toys on the driveway for him to play and stay dry. But he was not about to have that. He crawled straight to the sprinkler and sat under it and soaked him.

He loved it! He was laughing so hard and having the time of his life.

We are absolutely loving summer!!!

North Fork Campground

With me actually not being pregnant this year we are cramming as many camping trips as possible in this summer! So since we had a free weekend last week we decided to take full advantage. I didn't want to go too far, especially since we have SO many beautiful camping areas right by us. So we headed to the North Fork Campground in Eden. I knew there was a waterfall we could hike to, and a lake we could swim at. So after Emery's T-ball game on Friday night we headed up, found the perfect spot and set up camp.

While we waited for my parents and Colton and Haley to come up we went on a little hike around our campsite.

Harley loves being big and getting to sit in the big kid chairs.

We spent the night roasting hot dogs and staying up way too late talking. It was a gorgeous night, so we got to leave the rain fly off the tent and sleep looking up at the stars. The kids loved it.

The next morning we woke up and had some breakfast. Then we set off on our waterfall hike.
Emery hiked the whole way, Jake carried Harley, and I carried Macie. It was a little bit steep, but not bad, it was a good hike.

It was a beautiful waterfall too!!

After the hike we went back to camp and had some lunch. Then we headed out to go find the lake. We could see it on the map, but could not find the roads to take us there! By that time the kids were exhausted, Macie and Harley had already fallen asleep in the car and Emery was getting ready to. So we decided to bag it and head home.

That night we made our first trip to the Drive In movie! We decided to go see Jurassic Park and Avengers. But we knew it would be too scary for the kids, so we put them in the front with Finding Nemo playing while we watched it. It worked our perfectly! Macie fell asleep within the first 30 minutes.
It was the perfect weekend!

Harley at 10 months

Harley is 10 months! And if makes me want to cry! I can't believe how fast it is flying by. Life with the 3 littles is getting crazy! But we would never trade the fun we have with it! New tricks he learned this month...waving bye bye, blowing kisses (my personal favorite), climbing up and down everything (actually this has been a few months but the things he can climb are getting higher and higher!), shakes his head no to every question you ever ask him while laughing at you, he can stand alone for about 10-15 seconds. He thinks he can walk and lets go of everything to walk away but he can't. He is happy all the time, as long as his belly is full! We love you little man!

Emery loves to walk through the field across the street and pick me wildflowers. I get a bouquet every day, and I love it! The best flowers I have ever gotten have always been free.
