Saturday was mostly spent getting ready for the blessing. I ran down to Ogden that morning to get everything that we needed while Jake stayed home with the girls. We've learned it's just easier for one of us to go kid free now. It cuts the time in half. After I got home we had some lunch, and turned on the BYU game! yahoo! I love fall. Seriously, football season is the best. Mostly just BYU football season ;) After the 1st quarter there was thunder and lightening at the game so they had to delay it. After a few hours it settled down and they were able to start playing again. Unfortunately they lost though...a few stupid coaching calls didn't help the situation. And many incomplete passes. Let's hope this doesn't become a season thing...
That evening we just sat out on the back porch and talked, roasted hot dogs, played, and Jake helped Shayli with homework.
Emery loved hanging out with great grandma & grandpa. She loved telling them where to sit, where to lay, and they listened. She loves when people listen to her bossing.
Emery trying to feed Macie her Capri Sun...we have to frequently remind her that Macie doesn't eat the same things that she does.
